This 16 inch touchscreen chartplotter/sonar combo with full HD in-plane switching display has the built in support for the full suite of Garmin sonar capabilities and includes ANT technology and Wi-Fi networking.
The GPSMAP 8416xsv is also fully network capable with NMEA 2000 connectivity and the Garmin Marine Network.
Sonar support for the GPSMAP 8416xsv
The chartplotter/sonar combo includes dual channel 1 kW traditional CHIRP, CHIRP ClearVu scanning sonars and built in support for ultra high definition scanning sonar. It will also support the Panoptix sonar line.
Marine Electronics System
You can easily build your marine electronics suite with NMEA 2000 networking and Garmin Marine Network. You can control radar, autopilots, instruments and forward looking sonar from your chartplotter and shared across multiple screens.
You also have the option to coordinate with third party manufactured onboard marine products so you have more control of systems, such as lighting, digital switching and stabilization directly from your chartplotter screen.
Connectivity
The Garmin GPSMAP 8416xsv has built in Wi-Fi technology, a premium performance processor for fast map drawing, superior networking and video distribution. Video streaming can be controlled from the GC 100 wireless camera and VIRB action cameras.
Built in ANT wireless technology enables direct connection to quatix marine watch, gWind Wireless 2 transducer and wireless remote controls.
SmartMode Station Controls
SmartMode gives you quick and easy one touch access to all the information you need. Networked sonar, cameras, radar, media and digital switching can be independent or incorporated into SmartMode station controls.
